This blog is intended for the entertainment and use of all Cogswell Polytechnical College students and staff. The purpose of the forum is to help you express your thoughts and feelings about ASB. To promote a professional and collegial atmosphere and to help ensure that everyone participating in the blog and or comment box has a positive experience, the College has adopted the rules and guidelines set forth below.
By requesting, and thereby being granted membership to the blog, you agree to adhere to the following rules and guidelines:
1. Posting of material that is offensive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise inappropriate or unlawful is prohibited.
2. Disparaging comments about the College or other blog members is prohibited.
3. Posting of copyrighted material is prohibited unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.
4. Spam, flooding, mass emails, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are prohibited.
5. For your protection and for validity reasons, please do not give your password out to anyone other than an administrator. Likewise, never use another person's account for any reason. We also highly recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account to prevent account theft.
6. You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Accordingly, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this blog, any related websites to this blog, its staff, and its subsidiaries with respect to any and all formal complaints, claims, disputes or legal actions that may arise in connection with your use of the blog.
7. The owners of this forum reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
Moderators and administrators reserve the right to warn, suspend or ban any member who seriously or repeatedly violates these guidelines. Any information the forum owner, staff or moderators determine to be inappropriate may be removed with or without prior notice, including your username, comment, profile, gallery picture or any other material. Upon removal of inappropriate material, you may be issued a warning, and those and/or subsequent violations may result in suspension of privileges and permanent ban from the forum.
Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded. Also note that the software places a cookie—a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password)—in your browser's cache. This is only used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
