Thanksgiving Potluck!

· PLEASE sign up for a dish in the main office

· Or donate a few bucks for a ham

· 3rd annual!!! This is a HUGE hit every year!

Project X

· Project combines all degree concentrations to make a short film to show to festivals and Siggraph

· Team picked based on portfolio, under NDA

· Send your work to Mike Huber!!! Mhuber@cogswell.edu

· Need audio, programming, art, animation, modeling, EVERYTHING

· Looking for upper division students who aren’t graduating too soon (might be a 2 semester project)

· This will give you awesome demo reel work

· Professional environment & work level

· Last project aired on the Sci-Fi Channel ooooooo

· Want about 17 people



Guerilla Media

· Class for all students – upper and lower division

· Fast paced!

· Make podcasts, YouTube videos, machinama (use game assets to animate)

· Make digital comics and graphic novels



Game Collaboration

· Very much like Project X except creating a game

· Showing the game from this semester’s class in the gallery

· Professional environment – very serious

· Need people from all degree programs



Evan Announcement

· New sound equipment in the Den

· YOU MUST BE TRAINED

· IF YOU TOUCH IT WITHOUT TRAINING, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE WRATH OF EVAN

· Training takes 30-60 mins

· Email Evan epeebles@cogswell.edu if you are interested and he’ll get a session going



Sandborn Proposal

· 72 Hour Straight Game Design Challenge

· Need food, cots, prizes, about $1,000

· Interested people need to complete a series of training before they can be in the challenge

· Talk to Game Club and/or Mike Sandborn

· Happen in the spring

· Tabled because there wasn’t a clear idea of how much was needed from ASB



Concern with Lighting

· In each classroom, we have 2 light switches but it doesn’t really do anything

· Should be hooked up so that each switch controls half of the lights so you can do half lighting

· Rejino will talk to Marvin

· EMAIL REJINO WITH THE CLASSROOMS YOU WANT CHANGED



ELECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

· Campaign now (after you fill out your form) until November 29th when we will be voting at the meeting

· Debate on November 15th

· Currently don’t have any executive board members (can’t find the book of them) so we will re-do that

· Want to be ASB President or Vice President?

o Fill out the form in Rob’s office – you need to get signatures

o Be nice to Rachael because she’s one of the signatures you need J
