ASB Meeting Minutes – September 27, 2007

• All Student Meeting next week
• Paintball
o Katie is looking at different places we could go
o Last time we did it we went to an indoor place (RAP4) in Santa Clara
o We are looking at early or mid November for this event
• Tours
o Katie has been researching tour possibilities
o She has been in contact with Roger Rose at Pixar
o Students also suggested Double Fine, EA, Digi Design, Google, Lucas Arts and Apple as possible tour destinations
o Students suggested talking to Microsoft about participating in their expo of new software
• T-Shirts
o We are getting 30 printed at a cost of $16.59 per shirt
o They will be ready in one to two weeks
o They will be available through the ASB Office
• Brown Bag Lunch Series
o Kathy Williams is looking for student proposals to give a presentation at this series
o The idea of ASB hosting a contest to determine which student will get to present was suggested
o Interested students should talk to Rob or Rachael
• Student Workers
o Barb needs to fill a few more student worker positions and needs more applicants
o Interested student should talk to Barb for further details
• Halloween Party
o This event will be held on October 27th between eight and twelve
o Music Producers Club has agreed to provide a live DJ
o Budget to include food and prizes for the event

• ASB Website
o Rebecca Fortelka has gained access to the site and is ready to update it
o Anyone with content for the site should submit it to Rebecca or Rob
o Students suggested possible uses for the site including hosting a Cogswell webcam, voting or polling of students, advertisements for student businesses
o Rebecca and Rachael will be working on getting the forums in working order

• Storage
o Stephan raised the issue of students needing a place to store figure drawing supplies
o Possibilities for storage spaces were discussed
o Andrew is researching shelves for the glass room, Rob is looking into designating space in the figure drawing room
• ASB Office
o Andrew has priced art supplies
o Still no list of merchandise
o Still no list of ASB Office hours
• Recycling
o Stephan and Rob will be meeting on Friday to distribute recycling receptacles throughout the school
• Alumni Challenge
o Studio 15 hopes to host another Alumni Challenge
o They hope to schedule this for some time in November
• Board Game Night
o This event will be held on October 19th
o Table Star Games designers will be in attendance
o There may be possible internship opportunities for students with Table Star Games
• Library
o Students are concerned about library clean up and want to know what can be done
